PTS Diagnostics aims to provide a safe and healthy environment to work in for all employees. We would like to take a moment to introduce the PTS Safety Teams. It is important that you know who to contact with any safety concerns or comments. California and Indiana sites meet monthly to discuss safety issues and work on strategies to a promote and maintain a safe workplace.
Indiana Sites Safety Team
The Indiana Sites Safety Team is looking for new members. If you are interested in serving on the Safety Team for Indiana sites, please contact Ben Benedict.
Ben Benedict – EHS/Facility Team Leader
He is our Indiana Safety Representative and ensures safety and compliance OSHA regulations.
Heather Tomeo, Quality Control Manager
She manages Quality Control functions by ensuring all released product meets performance specifications, manages Product Support, and provides final approval of complaint reports.
Jennifer Grandidier – Director of Human Resources
She has experience overseeing all administrative, compliance, and employee relations aspects regarding of Workers Compensation.
Brian Yates – Facilities Manager
He is responsible for building security and issuing of key cards for Indiana sites, issuing and maintenance of company cell phones, and oversees the Maintenance Team for the Indiana sites. I have been here 22 years.
Heather Williams – HR Generalist
She has prior Workers Compensation experience focusing on ways to prevent losses, educating employees regarding various safety measures to handling claims as an employer representative.
Tom Harris – Senior Designer
Throughout his career he has been responsible for drafting and designing layouts and prints of PTS equipment and products to aid in the compliance and validation of design control, work instructions, and protocols.
Aaron Carver – Customer Service Representative
He is a new member to the PTS family and the Safety Team this year. He is an active member of the Indiana Army National Guard for the past 7 years as a Chemical Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Non-commissioned Officer. He is certified in HazMat Awareness and Operations; and is a certified HazMat Technician.
Nele Taevere– Quality Specialist
She is also a new member to the Safety Team. Currently she acts as an auditor for internal audits, provides support for Operations regarding NCRs, CAPAs, TDNs, updating working instructions, and approves Calibration, Maintenance and Validation documents.
Sunnyvale Safety Team
Our Sunnyvale Safety Team consists of a combination of subject matter experts. This allows for improved and detailed Safety Training which remains compliant with state and federal regulations. As a reminder for the Sunnyvale site periodically training will be assigned via QT9, email in-person presentations or using the display screen in the breakroom by one of the Safety Team members it is vital to make sure all employee understand information that is provided in the training and completes them on time.
